Customer Rides: Wayne's V10 R8 / Capristo Exhaust Installation

Wayne approached us 2 weeks ago to see if we were able to perform an exhaust installation on his 2015 V10 R8. After some back and forth emailing, we settled on a drop off date a week later and the removal process began shortly after.

The majority of RR vehicles are not easy to work on. But the R8 seems to have taken the cake on difficulty level compared to an Aventador we had previously worked on a week prior to this R8 being dropped off. It's insane how much has to come off in order to get to a specific part.

Thankfully with the invention of v-band clamps, the hefty factory exhaust system came off with a breeze.

We apologize for not having more photos of the Capristo unit. I was not aware that the heat shield HAD to be installed at the same time as the exhaust.

All wired up to the Capristo programmble remote. The difference between "cruise" mode and "open" mode was life changing. Hope you're satisfied with the exhaust, Wayne! Thanks for looking. - SP
