You might remember this E63 AMG from a previous visit where we worked on lowering the car.  This time installation on a set of COR Forged Wheels was on the to-do list.

COR Forged Cipher’s were the style of choice completed in a Titanium finish with carbon fiber lips.
20×8 front//20×11 rears

These COR cipher wheels definitely set off the E63, and we hope the owner enjoys his new look.

Our local SPE650 customer checked into SP the other day. This time around it was for installation of his APR Performance carbon front lip with brake ducts. It’s a nice piece and definitely wakes up the front end of the GT-R.

Recently we had a visit from a client of ours having some routine maintenance done on his GT-R.  This GT-R features almost all of our TiTek carbon fiber pieces and accessories; which add just the right amount of flare to  the lines of the GT-R.  I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves, but to put it simply this car looks awesome in person.

First off  I want to say Happy Monday. Early in the morning at SP we were greeted with a truck which had another delivery from the man himself Ray Hofman.  This time around it’s Rays brand new 2012 Audi R8 GT. The Audi R8 GT is a limited production car. Ray managed to get himself #112 out of 333 total that are being produced, and with only 90 that are being brought to US shores.

 

Quick overview of the 2012 Audi R8 GT:

  • Uprated version of the current 5.2-liter V10, 560 hp, 398 lb-ft; six-speed automated manual transmission, AWD
  • Audi states 0-60 3.6 seconds/ top speed 198.84
  • 180 pounds in weight reduction
  • firmer manually adjustable Bilstein suspension (10mm lower to the ground)
  • New ceramic brake package (giant 14.96-inch rotors up front and 14.0-inch rotors in the rear)
  • 333 total being produced/ 90 will come to the states

I’ve gotta say I really do like this car. Previously we had Ray’s Lp570-4 Performante which is basically a re-wrapped version of the Audi R8 V10. This car has a difference refinement and is definitely more subtle and understated. With it’s red exterior color though it definitely screams out loud.

With such big projects going on at SPE, taking a step back to look at the finer things that go into a build really make you appreciate the car as a whole once its complete. In this shot you can see our tech finishing up a TiTek carbon fiber gauge surround for one of our clients GT-R build’s; the small details definitely do make a world of a difference…Stay tuned as we’ll have something special for you guys to see in the upcoming month.

New from Titek Innovations is our R35 GTR carbon fiber trunk lid. This new trunk lid weighs in at 5.9lb’s which is 14.4lb’s lighter than the stock trunk with spoiler installed.


Titek’s carbon fiber trunk features a 1×1 plain weave in conjunction with a carbon kevlar backing to strengthen it’s rigidity.
