New pictures of the Titek carbon front lip for the Toyota Supra
The best thing about working on some of the sickest cars in the world is that we get to view some of the best parts manufactured. The all new HKS SSQV v3 might not seem new to anyone, but the details in craftsmanship is something worth taking notice!
“In 1994, HKS introduced the first Sequential Blow-Off Valve that blazed the auto industry with a unique pull-type sequential valve structure and a differential pressure control system. This advanced system allowed for a broad operation range from low to high boost. This pull-type relief design ensures stable operation regardless of boost pressure.
Super SQV 3 features include a nickel-plated, die-cast metal secondary valve, which is swaged to the primary valve, a stainless steel C-Clip and spring to increase sealing and durability. To assure buyers that they are purchasing an authentic HKS product, the new design incorporates a holographic HKS logo on the back of the valve, as well as additional HKS logos cast onto the body structure.
The Super SQV 3 utilizes the same mounting flanges as all previous generation SSQV’s to assure compatibility with all optional HKS SSQV inserts, recirculation fittings and recirculation kits.”
“At SSP we believe that one size rarely fits all and it is because of this that we are offering two different models of clutch packs. The first of these packs is out RT clutch set pack, which is designed to increase the TQ holding capacity of the transmission by a significant margin. This increase in capacity is a result of the new discs’ 25% greater gripping force than the stock clutch packs due to an increased surface area. The disc itself is a complex compound of cotton, carbon fiber, synthetic organic fibers, and other materials. These new materials add to the strength of the discs while still retaining the properties that allow it to hold up in the submerged oil environment of the SST’s valve body. This technology is tried and tested as it is a compound we spend months of R and D working on for the GR6 Dual Clutch box for the R35 GTR.
The RT discs are meant for customers who want more power than their existing discs will handle, and will handle high horsepower application with a TQ rating of 438 Ft/Lbs of TQ @200 Degrees F. This is a significant factor because the torque capacity of the SST clutch packs are a combination of strength and durability of materials used for the discs themselves and temperature of the transmission oil that the Discs are submerged in.
Not being the type of company to solve only half of the equation and leave the rest to chance, we will also be offering a SST transmission cooler that is essentially a three part solution to keeping temperatures in check. This solution begins with a specially designed deep dish oil pan that allows for 4 Liters of increased trans oil capacity, and continues with the addition of a high volume oil pump that pushes the oil thru a closed loop system which contains a dual fanned bar and plate style cooler placed at the rear of the car in order to get it as far away from the heat source as possible. This is the same basic design methodology that was used on our R35 cooler, but has been customized to improve the weaknesses in the SST cooling abilities from the factory. The cooler will be available as a standalone option for $2,200.00 or as a package with the clutch discs for $3,150.00. This is the first solution for owners who are worried about breaking their clutches and want a comprehensive solution other than buying an entirely new transmission.
This upgrade is extremely delicate in nature, and as such it needs to be performed by the right shop with the right equipment and experience to get the job done correctly. Because of this, it cannot be done at just any transmission shop. As a result, you must bring your SST equipped car to a shop with experience working with the SST, or ship the car or transmission directly to SSP or any of their soon to be released partner shops with facilities to do the upgrade. This modification is only one part of a package solution to allow any SST owner to strengthen their transmission as a whole and allow SST owners to hold the power that their GSR counterparts can and more.”

The complete process took our techs two days to complete which included: dropping the transmission, disassembling the clutch housing, soaking the new clutch discs, reassembling, and placing the transmission back into place. A transmission cooler was also installed at the same time to sustain the transmission from any overheating.

Just received Kansai’s transmission cooler here at SP Engineering. Below are some of the images we’ve taken. I must say this is one of the best engineered kit I have seen.
Kansai’s cooler mounts on the front drivers side of the bumper which also includes an air duct for maximum cooling power. Please note this upgrade is engineered to be used with your factory transmission cooler (coolant)
Note: the hardlines included in this kit were not made for the US Spec GTR. They were designed for RHD usage, and therefore need to be modded in order to fit. Reason being; the steering column from our US Spec GTR is blocking the way of the hardline that is trying to get to the transmission. Our tech Jason Reinholdt used the hardlines that were included, and customized them to fit perfectly.

Nissan Japan offers OEM LED running lamps for the R35 GTR which is designed to integrate with your factory front bumper without any major modifications. All hardware is plug and play which does not require any cutting or splicing into your vehicle.
Our buddy Sean recently dropped by with his Super Silver R35 to get a Titek Titan Exhaust and Titek SUS Midpipe installed. We caught a glimpse of the Nissan OEM running lamps, and decided to get our hands on some. Sean’s GTR features a Stillen front lip and side skirts, and is dropped on Eibach springs. A set of BBS LM wheels complete his clean and sleek setup.

Titek USA introduces their carbon fiber front lip for the Toyota Supra
Made of Grade A carbon fiber, and high quality reinforced plastic, this lip fits perfectly on the factory Supra bumper. A high polished clear coat was added to ensure a long lasting glossy finish, as well as protection from UV rays that prevent fading.
Recently we received the new carbon cooling plate for the R35 GTR designed by Titek USA, and this thing looks awesome! We were able to slap it onto our very own SP35 to show you the fitment, as well as how the glossy look compliments the entire engine bay!
Our Titek R35 GTR products never seem to stay in stock long enough to admire them, so we decided to indulge in a kodak moment.
Like previously noted, the Titek RACE exhaust system includes the full titanium exhaust, center pipe, and vented tips. Here’s an idea of how it would look on YOUR GTR!
