Another SPE750 GTR completed!

Like we showed in our commercial, the craftsmanship and detail that goes into our SPE750 kits is second to none. The responsiveness is exhilarating, and the lack of turbo lag makes this upgrade a must have!

Snow White

Thursday, February 25th, 2010

Although this Honda 2000 wasn’t built by us, we had to feature it’s beauty on our main blog. This S2K comes to us from a good buddy of ours, Ryan, who actually took over possession of our R33 GTR. The Honda has plenty of history, but just underwent some cosmetic surgery with an Amuse GT1 widebody kit, and is looking fresher than ever! I’ll let the pictures do the talking!

2005 E-Gear Gallardo on Volk G2’s

Thursday, January 21st, 2010

We were recently visited by this 2005 E-Gear Gallardo who came for his Volk Racing G2’s. This is the second Gallardo we’ve seen with these wheels aside from our very own Superleggera. Sized 20×9 up front, and 20×11 in the rear. The G2’s have been extremely popular among the GTR community, and is slowly rising in the Lamborghini community. How could you not pass up true JDM flushness?

Murdered M3

Friday, January 15th, 2010

We here at SP love our cars driven…so much in fact that we showed you just how we like to drive our cars in the Midnight Lambo Run video. One of our good customers rolled by with his murdered out M3 coupe to dyno test his new AFE Power intake system. The coupe has definitely gotten down and dirty with some road action, the way a BMW was meant to be driven. The AFE intake is a beauty, and crafted superbly well. Here are a few snaps for your enjoyment.

Visualize: Lexus IS-F

Monday, December 14th, 2009

This week we were met by a Starfire Pearl Lexus ISF with an Alpine interior. Some of the most noticeable components on this ISF were the Seibon carbon fenders, hood, and trunk. Original badging were kept in their standard locations. A set of Klassen K8.2 forged wheels add a nice touch to the overall appearance.

Note:
The modifications that were done to this ISF were not the work of SP, and we take no credit for any of its upgrades. The ISF was solely here for dyno purposes.

STi Bride Seat Install

Thursday, December 10th, 2009

A local customer dropped by to get a pair of Bride seats installed. This has been one of the few clean STi’s to come around the shop, so we thought we’d post some pics for all to see!

Eye Candy: Metallic Red M3 Convertible

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009

Ray Hofman from Peak Completions dropped his Melbourne Red Metallic convertible M3 off for some tasteful modding. This beauty screams sexy, drives like a champ, and can grab your attention instantly topless. To start things off, our techs got down to the nitty gritty and installed a Meisterschaft quad tip exhaust system, BMC air filter, and a Power Chip upgrade before heading to the dyno. Once everything was running collaboratively, our attention was turned to the aesthetics. A complete Vorsteiner aero kit was installed along with a rear diffuser. To add to the red and black motif; the grill, side vents, and sidemarkers were painted black. Also contributing to the paint scheme are a set of 20″ Klassen K8.2 wheels wrapped in Toyo Proxes T1R’s sized at 255/30/20 (f) and 285/30/20 (r), dropped on H&R springs. The choice of rims were perfect to allow any onlooker to admire the Brembo Gran Turismo big brake kit that graces not only the front, but the rear as well.

All in all this sexy beauty was enhanced to inspire…kinda like Pam Anderson after all her modifications.

Hing’s Greddy TT GTR Final Results

Wednesday, October 21st, 2009

After the long wait, we have finally concluded the dyno tuning stage with a result of 775awhp / 750tq. That’s 30 more lbs of torque than our SP35! This project took us 1.5 weeks with three techs working at max capacity. With SEMA right around the corner, it was necessary to rush the project.

Video footage of the dyno testing will be up very soon so sit tight!

Once again, we would like to thank Hing, Greddy, and Haltech in the completion of this project.

The 3Devils

Thursday, September 24th, 2009

The week before our GTR Meet we were slammed with more than a handful of R35’s that needed work done. We were also graced with 3 black devils beautiful in their own unique way. Here is a small photoshoot we did of them. Thanks to Ray and David for allowing us the shoot!!
